short hair

Ok so, I HAD really long pretty hair. A few days ago I was napping on the couch and my lottle brkthers friend thoight it would be funny TO CUT MY PONY TAIL OFF. THANKNGOD IT WAS SUPER LOW!! I jusy got back from the salon and it is a short as a bob could be. I hate it so bad I want to cry.
Any advice on how to wear it for rush?

omg LOL thats quite the story. try to grow it out as much you can this summer - castor oil, vitamin supplements, and certain shampoos can really do wonders. but i mean really the only thing you can do for rush is to just embrace it. I'm not going to lie, most girls here have decently long hair but i don't think your hair is going to hold you back from any bids. i think it'll definitely be a good topic for conversations too! good luck hun!!!

Please tell me someone is paying dearly for this. I am an obsessed my my long long hair kinda girl. Id kill someone!! I am rushing too and totally feel you!!! But at least it won't be so hot? And you have the summer to figure it out!! Take vitamins and make sure you get micro trims often. Split ends show up so much worse when they are next to your face!! I personally like head bands even though they are "out"

if this is your biggest concern going into rush, you'll be fine. plenty of girls have short hair. it's about having the confidence to rock it. If your hair is the only think making you confident to take on rush, you can either get hair extensions (clip-ins are like $200) or you can try to improve your insecure insides, because these girls are not rushing you based on your hair length. I'll take a girl with great grades and a fun personality and a bob over a girl with mermaid hair and nothing else.
Besides, if a house judges you based on the length of your hair, is that really a house you want to be in?

Sooo many girls get to college and end up cutting their hair-- it's much more grown up. I did and I can think of about 5-6 of my sisters who routinely say "omg girl I wish I had the guts to do that but I'm just so nervous!" And I can almost guarantee that an active will say that to you during rush. Then you have a great lead in for a very funny and memorable story!

Try hair extensions for rush? Don't tell the actives your hair is fake though just be discrete and make it look natural. I'm sorry this happened to you I would also cry!
