Below a 2.8 I can't imagine many houses would keep you, 3.0 and above is probably safe-ish, but ideally you want above a 3.3

I think pretty much all houses have a minimum. My house cuts at a 3.0 and we are near the bottom of the grade ranks. I believe kappa cut at a 3.3 last year. Sorry i don't have more specifics!

Kappa cuts at a 3.3, ADPi cuts at a 3.2, and everywhere else is a 3.0(officially). If you have a 3.1 though, don't expect for Alpha Chi, Chi O, Alpha Gam, etc to keep you unless you're a legacy/super well connected because they're stricter on grades.

If you have over a 3.5 you'll be fine with all houses. If you have below a 3.0 you'll be cut from most. It's the gray area between a 3.0-3.4 where your involvement, looks, reputation, etc will make or break you.

The houses that claim to cut at 3.2 and 3.3 are really looking for over 3.5. Those are just cut offs their nationals established.

I 100% promise you my house CANNOT take you if you are below a 3.2. It does not matter if you're Miss Teen Alabama, or if your mommy knows someone from Nationals. You will not wear our letters. It's heartbreaking when girls names appear on cut lists that you love, but they have a 3.17. Still cut.

Possibly AXO? I mean, it's hard to maintain a 3.63 chapter average in college if your chapter's 'high school average' was below a 3.5. I'm sure that some girls get bids with less than a 3.5, but not much less.

Not officially. But if the rest of your resume isn't well rounded and all you have going for you is a 3.5, you'll be dropped. There's a lot more to your profile than just your GPA. Things like class officer, homecoming court, cheerleader or soccer player, volunteer, etc all count for a lot. And you could have a 4.0 or a 4.5, but if you did nothing in high school, you'll be dropped.
