Not something a PNM said to me, but a girl in my rho chi group told our rho chi that she was ok with being hazed and would definitely swallow a goldfish if a house asked her too.
Our rho chi was dying laughing promising the girl she wouldn't get hazed or have to eat any goldfish hahaha

It's not something anyone said, but some of the tattoos I've seen are hilarious. Let's see, there was a Hello Kitty, one girl had a slice of pizza and another had HER DOG tattooed on her.
If you have insanely stupid tats like these, just don't rush. Otherwise, dress appropriately to cover them, or use makeup or a bandaid.

The active was wearing heels and stepped on her foot. The girl had to wear tennis shoes all week and had to be carted around on a golf cart because she couldn't walk. I felt so bad for her:(

Off the top of my head...
1) A girl told my best friend she would scrub toilets if she got a bid. To clarify it's not like we're in some super elite only Mtn Brook house. Just a solid middle and generally well-liked house.
2) I complimented a PNMs bracelet and she said it was from a charity that employs strippers in other countries. I don't know if she meant legitimate strippers, or if she got confused and meant women needing help or something, but I was too scared to ask for clarification so I just nodded and moved along.
3) There was one girl I talked to Day 1 and I BARELY got the word hey out of my mouth before she like bear hugged me. Upon our first meeting. Of rush. I think she was just REAL excited. She was okay other than that, but I don't know where she ended up.
4) Embarrassing thing that happened to me! - I had my wisdom teeth out about 2 weeks before rush and dry socketed. You know that mesh packing they stuff into the hole in your mouth to keep the pain down while it heals? Yeah it broke free in my mouth in the middle of conversation at Phi Mu. I tried to play it off by sticking it under my tongue really fast but I'm sure the girl was wondering WTH I was doing because it looked like I had chewing tobacco in my mouth. It also took me by surprise so much I spilled my water. Cool, self, cool.

I also got my wisdom teeth taken out before rush and it didn't heal as fast as I thought it would and freaked me out so much! I was so worried actives would notice the swelling around my cheeks.
Note to PNMs, if you're gonna get your wisdom teeth out before you start college, please try to do it as early in the summer as possible!!
