do ua sororitys haze?

Depends on your definition of hazing but in the strictest word yes they do. Scavenger hunts are considered hazing. Having to sort sequins by color is hazing. Stuff like that. I know some houses that do wthat or did before. No one will give away their house. Buck up, it won't be like in the movies.

I know my house has been called out for hazing on this site before, but we don't and no other house here does. Some girls in my house actually do have their littles do scavengers before big/little reveal but it's totally optional and you can choose not to participate. Most items on the scavenger hunt are very small too, usually along the lines of taking a picture with a bouncer at some bar or something. Most girls in my house don't give lists to their littles anyway, and I want to reiterate the littles don't have to do it. My good friend got a list from her big but chose not to do anything. It's more just to hype up the big/little reveal and everyone knows it's just in the spirit of fun.
Anyways, hazing here in any house would be extremely hard. When you have 140+ girls in just one pledge class it's hard to keep everyone quiet about something as serious as hazing. And girls talk, whether it be to their parents or to friends, incidents of hazing would have been known by now.
I can proudly say that sororities here are haze-free.
