make up

I hardly ever wear make up and wasn't planning on wearing much more than mascara and lip gloss. I have good skin and am more of a natural person. Is wearing a full face necessary before the last couple of rounds? What sororities have more natural looking girls? I have excellent grades, recs and am from the south.

I am also a PNM in the same situation and I have the same question. I am southern but OOS.

Maybe add some powder sunscreen to your routine to make sure you don't get too shiny? And, some nail polish, at least a neutral pink. Think of it like an interview. Some girls go full out with lashes and contouring. Others keep it more natural. It's all about what makes you feel your best and makes you most comfortable.

Please do not wear fake lashes and go overboard with contouring or you'll find yourself with a one way ticket to APhi or Zeta on bid day.

Just be yourself. Look and dress like you normally would or you won't end up in a house that you're truly comfortable in.

Guidelines for pref in greek chic usually say dress as you would for a wedding. I would put on a little more makeup than usual at least for this but don't wear anything that makes you uncomfortable.

Rush is all about showing who you are... If you don't usually wear makeup then don't wear a ton. Mascara and lip gloss is perfect if that is you usually. We are so excited to meet you!!

Don't make yourself into something you're not and do a full face of contour just for rush, but I'd say maybe apply some powder or something to keep you from getting too shiny. For sisterhood and especially pref you will probably want more than lipgloss and mascara, but for IWT and Philanthropy if that's what you're comfortable in then it is totally appropriate

Honestly, if you don't feel the need to wear makeup and you feel comfortable doing so then don't wear makeup. Every house has their full glam girls and their "natural" girls. And no house is going to drop you just because you didn't put on makeup. However, I will say that IF you do choose to put more makeup on than usual for rush, please practice it before hand. Make sure it can withstand long hours in extreme heat.

AXO, XO, AGD, and ADPi are the ones that come to mind for me. Lots of naturally beautiful girls in every house, but these houses generally have more "girl next door" pretty girls
