mountain brook connection

I grew up in mountain brook but moved away in jr. high. I am still friends with a bunch of guys from mountain brook. I am getting invited to several summer parties which I am grateful for but my friends from my new town are not. How much weight doe mountain brook carry in the frat world at Alabama?

My guess would be a lot if all of your connections from there like you. But it depends on the fraternity

Don't worry so much about your friends, it's natural to grow apart and find new groups of friends in college and even if they're in different frats you can still chill. Also they should be more proactive, they can reach out through Facebook or insta or alumne groups

Perhaps you will decide a non-MB fraternity is best for you and your current friends
