is two recs better than one?

is there a big difference between getting one recommendation for a house vs two? For example, will a house consider you more if you have more recs. Thanks!

No, but Rex's give you an edge and it's best to have a couple lined up in case one falls through

Just because someone tells you they'll write you a rec doesn't mean they actually follow through with it. I'd aim for 2 or 3 so you have the best chance of getting at least one there for sure.
