When you said va, I thought you meant va( Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, etc..- those girls typically go kappa or kd). Nova is a suburb of dc; not Virginia. Those girls go all over but mostly new row or axo or phi mu.

NOVA is definitely a part of Virginia, not a suburb of DC... close to DC yes, but It's still considered NOVA when you're an hour and a half away from DC into VIRGINIA. and yes it is very different culture than the rest of virginia

NOVA stands for NORTHERN VIRGINIA. They are part of Virginia and not DC. Plus, as someone who was born and raised in Alexandria, I assure you that a large group of people who live there would never claim to be a part of DC, even if they work there.

In the past few years I think 7 girls have rushed from my high school and we went KD, APhi, PBP, DDD, and Theta. So it's definitely all over. I think there aren't enough NoVa girls to make them a real geographic contingent in the eyes of the houses.

Northern VA girls are scattered all around. I am one of them and I am a Phi Mu. I know of others in all of the houses listed above, and really in just about every house, old and new row.

I totally agree. A girl from the DC area and a girl from mostly anywhere in the rest of Virginia are typically completely different. Not a bad different, just different styles and interests
