paying my own dues?

by: transfer

So as of right now I go to a super small school and pay my own dues. I'm going to transfer here in the fall and would love to remain an active member of my sorority. However, my parents don't seem too supportive of helping me out with paying my dues. They want me to pay it all by myself again.

I just want to know if it's even possible for me. Or if you know anyone who manages it. Are monthly payments even a thing? Help, please
(If it helps, it's an old row sorority)

I personally don't pay my own dues, but I know people who do and depending on this house it's not impossible. I know that my house gives you the option to pay it in three or four different installments throughout the semester though, so you wouldn't have to pay it all at once

I pay for my own dues and rent.! It's possible. My sorority lets us pay it in installments of 4. If you're an alpha chi or any house that's super expensive it might be hard, but still possible.

On this note which sororities are more expensive? Which are the least expensive?

that information regarding highest and average per semester costs can be found on the UA Panhellenic FAQ page
.

unfortunately the costs on the panhellenic website aren't always accurate. A lot of sororities say that their dues are cheaper than they actually are. just something to keep in mind!

Since you are already a member of a sorority it would behoove you to contact them or their national headquarters for the best information regarding their specific payment plans and methods.

No one here so far seems to have read your question with any clarity or thought, and thus they have not been able to correctly answer it.

You are welcome.
