Axo needs to stop with the self ranking! We get it you think very highly of yourselves!!

It's one thing to self rank, which they do. Relentlessly. However, it's another thing to down rank other houses just to be cruel. Which they do. This has become very apparent these last few weeks. PNMs beware. You have been warned.

They're not self ranking, they're legitimately a top 3 house. Deal with it.

I think most agree they are a top house, but more than a dozen 5 star ratings in 24 hrs is a bit much. Do less!

At those same time blocks there are many down rankings for other houses. So they are busy self ranking and putting others down at the same time. In my mind, that does not make them a top house. That makes them,...well...., you be the judge.

Then maybe they're not a top tier house anymore. Smells of desperation.

AXO has always been in discussion for top tier on this site, so it's nothing new. As for girls asking about whether their GPA is high enough (which I've seen a lot of posts for lately) it's no secret that they cut hard on GPA, so it's not an unreasonable request for lots of girls to have this question.

And I highly doubt that any actual AXOs are making more ratings on their individual sorority page. No one really looks at those anyways. Overzealous moms or trolls, more like.

I beg to differ. I think PNMs are on the sorority pages all the time, especially right before rush.

Well I do not consider AXO the top house because they're not social enough. Great grades are awesome, but you have to be a well-rounded house. Isn't the whole point of joining a sorority for the social aspect of it?

Everyone has different reasons for joining a sorority. Some people want date parties, some people want friends, some people are super into philanthropy, and some people want to feel more connected to the UA community in general. There is no singular "whole point" of joining a sorority.

I never understood the idea that axo isn't very social?? Every time I go to a date party, regardless of the house, there's always a group of axos there and they seem to be having a fine time. I get that they do put grades and such over partying and going out but I don't think that makes them antisocial. They seem to be doing a fine job

Date parties and friends are social reasons. And I've never met anybody who joins a sorority for non-social reasons like philanthropy. Philanthropy might change how you rank houses during rush. But lets be real - the majority rush for social reasons. Even "be more involved in the bama community" boils down to getting to know people.

I mean, sure, but making friends does not HAVE to involve getting drunk or going out. Introverts can be in sororities too. It doesn't make them worse people.
