little transferring

Hey guys, so my little is transferring to a school super far away, and obviously I'm pretty upset. Has anyone else had to deal with their little transferring, and how did you cope with it? I know it's dumb but I feel like maybe I wasn't a good enough friend to her and she would've stayed if she was happier here.
