If I have a really low GPA should I even bother getting recs for Alpha chi ?

Honestly no. AXO recruits mainly on merit, so if you're not an academically outstanding PNM there's a slim chance you'll get a bid... You'd have to be a legacy of someone important or personally know a lot of important people in the house.

If you can easily get one you might as well because it never hurts. But realistically I wouldn't go out if your way if you don't know anyone who was an Alpha Chi, they release the most girls out of any house and are VERY academically competitive
