2,683 women attended the first round of events for Fall Formal sorority recruitment 2016

Bama saw its largest pledge class in the school's history, as 2,488 women received bids during Bid Day 2016

93% received bids from 16 Panhellenic sororities participating

Approx. 155 new members per house (Yes, we are aware some chapters bid less, some bid more)

It's not a pledge class. It's a new member class. ;)

Not all sororities have adopted that term. Some still use the the term pledge class, but refer to new girls as "new members" rather than pledges.

Pledge and rush are way easier to say (and faster to type on this page where every character counts toward a limit) than new member and recruitment.
