by: oos pnmWhat does it mean to have connections in a house? Just that you know an active? Or that you had good recs? And also, how important is quality of recs? Is it more or less a box checked off or do actives actually read the content?

Refs from recent grads and former exec get some attention from recruiting team and can actually help. Otherwise checks the box. Connections means real friends (old or Linda new) that will advocate for you. Connections can also get you cut bc they know so much about you and may truly believe you won't fit. To see connections look at comments on insta or Facebook that other pnms get.
