by: PnmI'm attending Alabama in the Fall and these ranking have me so confused! It looks like top houses where I live (west Coast) are considered mid-bottom at Bama! Will I automatically be cut from old row/top houses here because I'm not from the South? at all the good universities where I live the top houses are the fun girls but here I keep seeing them referred to as party girls or dumb! That's not me, but will I only be accepted by the new row or party houses because of where I'm from?

Ok so first of all - sororities are different at every college/regions of the US. I'm from the west coast too and ya i know top houses at a lot of california schools are bottom houses here but the rankings on the site are completely screwed up bc sorority girls go on here and self rank or like put other houses down. so seriously don't bother w this website it is completely wrong.
you won't be as heavily considered by old row houses but its really not a big deal. they're good houses some of them but theres new row ones that are just as good or better the whole old row thing doesn't matter here (except to like some people who have never been out of alabama lol) and no they aren't all party houses. but this is a party school, you'll find girls who love to party and girls who don't in every single house. some houses just get more of a reputation for it bc they might have more girls who do like to party
