So I have heard that some fraternities will only swap with certain sororities and have even turned requests. I find this so rude. Do some sororities do the same? Which sororities are known to be open-minded swappers and which are not?
Which fraternities are the snobs and who do they swap with and who will they not? I say good riddance to a couple of the ones I bet are exclusive? I would be afraid to swap with some I think! 😬

Sounds like a machine reference because of xo going against them on SGA stuff. Frats might shun them or something. Prob could happen.

So you're saying that frats determine what is a top sorority, so the sororities are compete for their approval. Kinda 19th century...

It's not the 19th century, but most PNM's want to be a game day date at some point during their pledge time. Meeting guys at swaps are part of that experience. If you have crappy swap schedules (or no swaps), girls might start questioning how much fun their sisterhood is when they see all the other girls in other houses going out to their swaps and having a blast.

sorry but there are so many pretty girls in Bama and not that many cute boys that I think sororitites should have the upper hand here

I'm in a sorority and we definitely do not swap with all the houses. First off there are like 30 fraternities and we have like what, 10 swaps in the fall? And also fraternities pay lots of money for swaps, if they don't want to swap with a sorority they shouldn't have to

Yes, DKE and alpha phi had a swap, but the guys were very rude to them because of their new row status and basically just yelled at them and insulted them the whole time. Not saying alpha phi deserved this at all, just saying DKE is not friendly toward new row

They are all Deke Hit and Runs... I think that is part of the point. PLUS any real stud guy that is a Deke legacy actually went SAE over past few years.

Hahahaha I'm from Selma and I've never heard of anyone from here become a DKE. Most Selma boys go KA

I'm a pike and that's a stupid comparison to make. We are a completely different type of house than DKE. Some prefer them and I get that. Pi Kapp is completely different than SAE and ATO is different than KA. The differences make each house have strengths and weaknesses. There is no TOP house here at UA in my opinion because of how big our greek system is great. That is too broad and hard to quantify, as well as subjective. Any house on University Blvd is a good house in their own regard and has good dudes. Its all just preference and really who people tend to hang around the most.

Please, our swap game is still going to be as strong as ever. Anyone saying otherwise is an Alpha Chi trying to self promote by making ChiO look bad.
We have the AXOs scared about how much better we're going to do in rush!!! All they do is sit on this site and self promote about being the cream of the crop!

Time will tell. From what I can tell, XO on rush is going party and party ain't what they gonna get. They prob too dumb to figure that out but anyway. They end up where they need to be. Pan Lurv.
