dke at mizzou

I'm in DKE at Mizzou and I'm looking to transfer here in the fall. I've heard DKE here is pretty snobby and very exclusive at UA, and if I'm already a brother in the fraternity will i be respected by DKE's if I transfer here and I become a brother here coming from a school where DKE is good but not exactly that exclusive?

If I were you I would join but to be completely honest they will not treat you the same. In their eyes you aren't truly "one of them". In some cases that's fair because you didn't go through pledgeship with them, and DKE's are already more on the snobby and exclusive side compared to other fraternities so there's that too.

Lol they honestly probably won't even take you. If you're not from Mobile or from some serious Old Money in another Southern state then you're not welcomed by them.

Unfortunately the other posts are correct. "If" they took you as a transfer, you still wouldn't be considered one of them.
