transferring from ecu

I'm a Pi Kapp at ECU and transferring here next fall. I was wondering how they are here and if they're accepting. I heard these guys don't call themselves Omricons and don't associate with any Pi kapps from other chapters.
Is any of this true or could someone give me a short description of what they're like here
