Honestly AOPi is a great house, just like all the others, but they're definitely one of the very last houses in the ranks. Honestly I'd rank them second to last, before DZ. They do have a handful of pretty girls, but they also have a handful of kind of weird girls. I don't mean to hate on them whatsoever btw. They're also incredibly lowkey on campus and in the Greek community and just very relaxed about a lot of things in general - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I mean when Greek life is extremely competitive here, being the "chill" house isn't something to brag about.

I also go here and I don't know what the Witt Cup is either lol. I know they just recently won like the best chapter on campus or something, which baffled me and a bunch of other people. AOPi compared to the other houses here isn't something to brag about, but I mean AOPi compared to other schools is, if you know what I mean.

At the greek excellence banquet every year two of the awards are most outstanding sorority and the Witt Cup. No one's really sure why they keep winning them because they don't have top grades, involvement, etc, but the Greek life office can give them to whoever they want so everyone just assumes there's an aoii on the committee that decides. The awards that really matter are given at the Order of Omega banquet anyway.

They aren't considered a top house because it's easier to get a bid from them. I agree they do have some pretty girls but some of them are strange- but honestly you will find that in any house. The Witt Cup means that they have a good sisterhood and I think they got it because they are pretty involved in Greek life and they are pretty chill people. They are usually pretty lowkey girls. As far as the rankings go on here they are usually on popularity and looks- that sort of deal- so Aopi doesn't come out anywhere near the top because that's just not really their personality. I wouldn't say your friend is lying- I know some of the girls through friends and classes and they are very nice and genuine- and anyways, her experience is her own, just keep an open mind and find out where you fit in- sounds like she found where she does.
