by: OOSHii everything, I'm an OOS girl rushing in the fall of this year and I was wondering if I even had a chance. I will finish with a 3.3 GPA and am decently involved in high school. Is there houses I can expect to get cut from day 1?

Expect to be cut by AXO unless you have legacy status on your side or you really connect with your girl first round. You should do fine as long as you get recs in to many if not all the houses, are polished in your appearance, and have an outgoing personality. Good luck and Roll Tide!

Of course you have a chance to get a bid! Why would you think you don't? A majority of the student body is OOS, so no big deal there. Keep your options open, don't make up your mind that you'll accept only A, C, E, or G sororities - every chapter at UA has outstanding attributes in some way. Get your recs - that's VERY important at Alabama. Practice your conversational skills, polish your wardrobe (and that does not mean to go out and buy a bunch of expensive stuff). Make sure you are neat and put-together.
You'll be fine.
