by: hihi guys, im an intl student and definitely planning to rush a sorority. would i be considered at least a little bit more "interesting" for the sole fact of being international? and also, would i get a bid? any tips? thanks everyone!

It depends. Are you a fun international student or are you one of those weird international students that speak broken english? Personally I know my friends and I think international students are more weird than "interesting." If you're a qualified PNM then you'll be considered by every house, but keep in mind that just because you're an international student doesn't make you a priority for the houses.

If you were attending the University of Chicago you'd be considered just one of the normal, geeky undergrads. But at Alabama you may stick-out like a sore thumb. Take the advice given here and on the UA website (if it's UA you're attending, you really didn't say just posted here).

i totally feel this! I think the same of the ''typical'' international students. I don't think I am. I am an US citizen completely raised abroad and attended an American International school. I don't think I will have any problem! But thanks!
