southern boys

I came to Bama from the west coast and consider myself a good catch. Im outgoing, good looking and have morals. But I've noticed lots of traditional southern boys won't give me the time of day. I've heard southern boys only take southern girls home to meet their mommas. Is this true?

I'm actually not liberal maybe a bit uppity. But everyone I meet assumes I'm liberal because I'm from California. Is this what all southerners assume about people from California??

You are in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. There is more to The South, and Southerners, than T-Town. Bama kids are Bama kids.
