Every sorority here amazing, you'd be lucky to get a bid from any of them!

-kd is slipping significantly and i think the biggest reason why is because they refuse to branch out in terms of what kind of girls they take in and where they come from, same could be said for kkg
-axo's reputation is kind of slipping, of course we all know they're top in grades and they're very involved but besides that, they've really neglected the other aspects of sorority life
-phi mu has slipped a considerable amount considering they're pretty hyped up. a lot of people feel that they're very vein, and they had about 30 pledges drop this year so take that how you may
-dz had a really bad rush this year and currently holds the title of bottom house

Agree KD and PM have slipped the most. I think AXO is still in the top four with KKG, XO and DDD.

The house to improve the most in my opinion is Theta. Gamma Phi has been steadily increasing too. Also ADPi. They've gotten some strong pledge classes recently.

KD and PM are definitely slipping:
- In my opinion, PM still ranks in the top three along with KKG and AXO, however their reputation for being shallow/vein/etc is really hurting them. 30 girls from their freshman pledge class dropped, some say because of the hazing others say because of the drama, but regardless, if PM was that great of a house they'd have a better retention rate.
- KD is a very traditional house, in some ways that's great, but in other ways that's their biggest problem. The majority of girls KD take in are from Alabama or the surrounding states and they all knew each other from high school... So basically as the other person before me said, KD is not branching out. KD has the potential to strengthen their house by taking in more well-rounded PNMs even though they're not from the South, but KD just chooses to prioritize connections over basically everything else.

So far through this school year:
KD, PM, KKG are declining.
ADPi, ZTA, GPhi are on the rise.
DZ has solidified it's spot as bottom house.

First, let me say, every house at UA is truly amazing!

For houses in decline...I'd say Pi Phi didn't do as well due to lack of house.

AOPi also declined substantially and has been. Likely because of no house.

As for houses on the rise... I d say AGD, although not discussed much, is gaining strength. Just love them and what's best about them...they don't feel the need to brag about themselves!

I would also agree GPhi has risen considerably. Just hope they hang on when the other soroirities get their new houses finished. I kinda think they will given their improvement has been so strong!

Dear supposed 2017 PNM:
This is the University of Alabama.
Tradition is all important.
Sorority ranks don't change all that much from year to year.
As the post #2 says, all the chapters are top chapters in their sororities. You'd be lucky to get a bid to any of them.
