What about letters of support in addition to recs? I know those are big at Ole Miss and Texas -- are they overkill here?

- if you're really serious about rush and want to show the sororities that, then i highly suggest getting two recs most per house. anything over two recs per house is overkill and makes you seem desperate. i'd suggest to start asking people to write recs for you now because you don't want to be scrambling at the last minute and you can start to turn them in as soon as May i think.
- letters of support are okay. it's just a little extra thing, but it's not important here by any means. if you have 1-2 teachers/mentors/whatever that really know you very well and can strongly vague for your character then i'd say go ahead.
-overall stick to 2 recs per house most. the sororities will be getting hundreds if not thousands of recs these upcoming months and it's already a lot to sort through so if you're sending in more than 2 per house it begins to get cluttered and it makes you look desperate.
