i don't really know that many AGDs so I can't really say anything, but i do like Pi Phi, AOPi, and some DGs. but everyone really hates DDD down here as of 3 weeks ago, as they should.

You can't even put ZTA anywhere near the same class as Kappa and KD. ZTA has always been a low ranked group.

exactly. Old Row is mostly where the old moneys at. Mountain Brook, TA, Northridge, Morgan, UMS, St. Pauls, and basically all the schools similar minus Hoover are the stereotypical old row pledge.

old row is honestly where its at. its girls that never heard of sororities until there freshman year of college that are new row. same for guys. old row pledges are literally pledging from freshman year of highschool, to senior year of highschool.

I'm from Mobile, and in an old row sorority, but I'd never even heard of some of the Old Row sororities here. Most of the sororities that are good here, aren't good everywhere else.
For example: Phi Mu and Alpha Chi are definitely top tier here, but anywhere outside of the south, they are horrible. On the other hand, middle and lower tier sororities like ZTA, DG, DZ, and ADPi are the best at most schools.
I love my sorority, and I love being old row, but I also love that my sorority is top tier everywhere, not just Alabama.

Phi Mu is not the biggest nationally, but AXO is very large nationally and definitely have prominence outside the South. Pi Phi and Theta who appear to be lower tier here are powerhouses all over the place, and I think DZ is top at a lot of schools that don't have a huge Greek life for the most part.

It's really sad if a house thinks that it needs to begin recruiting freshmen in high school. That sounds so desperate. Calm down. B-r-e-a-t-h-e. Old row or new row--you need to get out of your little box and have some fun.

Old Row girls are so narrow- minded and focus primarily on getting the not so bright but pretty and popular girls at the lame high schools in Alabama. Are you kidding me? The wealthiest girls actually end up in the new row sororities because they are getting the best of the best out of state girls with money, looks, grades, personalities and clout. Top new row sororities that are truly the wealthiest...ADPi, AOPi, ZTA and Pi Phi. They have the least number that drop out after rush because of finances!!
