stop the bashing on each other!
by: AboveItI'm disheartened that most posters on this site act like mean girls and do not embrace the Panhellenic spirit. You should be working to raise up all sorority woman and NPC groups on your campus, not bashing them. I read a lot about chapters that have the 'prettiest' or 'hottest' girls. No one mentions a house that has kind, welcoming, intelligent, philanthropic, generous spirits with great core values. That speaks to your immaturity and lack of real-life experience. You should practice respect and kindess toward each other. Why do you have to prove that one house is better than another? If you like your chosen house, isn't that all that matters? Mind your business, live your life and enjoy your experience with your sorority just as other women are doing with their chosen sorority. It doesn't make you better to belittle or insult someone else. It just makes you a jerk. Your cattiness and mean-spirited attacks on each other is so off-putting and makes me embarrassed to be a sorority woman.

Tiers are a matter of opinion. This is proven by the number of disagreeing posts about which sororities are in which tiers. There is NO SET RANKING. Your sorority should be #1 in your heart, and that's all that matters. I wouldn't want a girl who wouldn't rank our house #1. My house is my favorite, and that's how every girl should feel about her sorority.

You're an idiot if you believe tiers matter. All of the houses have something great to offer. I would be honored to be a member of any house on campus.

Every house has something to offer. That's why each house is able to stay on campus. People love to bash some of the "not top" houses, but those houses all have plenty of members. Those girls wouldn't be in those houses if those houses weren't good for those girls. Hate on Gamma Phi, DG, whomever all you want, but those girls obviously love being in their house just as much as kappas, tri delts or whatever "top tier" house girls love being in theirs. It's about finding a group of friends for life.
