Which sorority typically has the most girls drop during pledging? How many have dropped this year?

Phi Mu had 30 drop because they hated it this year! How's that's for a drop rate?

Not true! Several girls dropped PM because they couldn't afford the dues. My roomie is a PM and I've hung out at the house and the girls have been nice. Every house has issues but PM seems to be the one getting blasted probably by girls who got dropped by them or just jealous. I'm rushing next year and I would love to be a Phi Mu. So stop with the 30 girls dropping bc it was snot true. So pnms take what you hear with a grain of salt.

So your rookie is a PM and you hang out with them but you're rushing next year? Seems fishy. Why didn't you rush this year? Or did you and got dropped. This seems like a fake post to me!

I' m on a full scholarship and I didn't think I wanted to be in a sorority bc I thought it would take too much time. I was wrong. My roomie took 18 hours who is also in honors college with me and had a 3.9 GPA. She and her PM friends have been nice to me and showed me you can be in a sorority and keep good grades. That's why I'm rushing this year! If I don't get in PM that's ok too bc I've met girls in other houses that have been nice. Since you're so concerned about why I didn't rush this year that's why. You are probably one of the b..... uh girls who are giving sorority girls a bad name....jmho

Typically houses with higher percentages of out of state girls have higher drop rates because a lot of girls who come from far away end up wanting to be closer to home. It's really no fault of the house

The Bama Panhellenic grade report lists number of actives. Which, gives a sense of drop rates, as you can see the houses with the fewest actives.

The houses below 360 are APhi, DZ, DG, ADPi and KAT

Is the report the poster above is referencing. Historically, houses that do COB in the spring have had a higher drop rate. It doesn't mean they don't have good sisterhoods or have great girls in their houses. COB is a great way for girls that missed out on formal recruitment to get into a house and get in on some fun!

DG - isn't at 415 in the print grade report. No house is that big in that report.

DG over books during rush and due to drop rates will fall back by spring.

Every sorority loses a few - can't afford the fees, parents demand more attention to studies, boyfriend takes precedence, sorority life not what they expected - as many reasons as there are dropouts.
But I haven't seen any one or two or three sororities with more than usual.
