If you have below a 3.0 college GPA rushing as a sophomore, what sororities do you still have a chance of getting a bid from if you're overall still a great PNM just not the best GPA?

really depends. extracurriculars you participated in your freshman year as well as high school will play an influence as well as your appearance. a 3.0 is the "minimum" gpa the sororities say they will take (but obviously if you have something else they want they'll take you even though you're a grade risk). the fact you're a sophomore will limit your options too if you don't have something very desirable that they houses want. you'll probably be cut from a number of "top" houses because of your grades and because you're a sophomore.

What are things that someone could have that would be "desirable" the houses want? Not sure what you mean by that

Well the good news (contrary to on this website), ranks don't matter in real life! So if you're cut by top houses for being a sophomore, then whatevs. But the previous poster is correct in saying that you'll prob need something else they want (looks, grades, connections) for some sororities. I would say that the "mid tier" to "bottom tier" sororities will not cut you just based on a 3.0 and sophomore status, if you've got traits that they like. I'd look DDD and below. Try ADG or ones like those in mid tier for top. (Just in my opinion!) have a good rush!

has one of the highest GPA's in Greek Life, and has had for quite a few years. A below 3.0 GPA is going to hurt your chances with this sorority.
