chapter websites
by: HiNot trying to be rude at all but it would be way more helpful for us PNM's for some of the sororities here to update their websites. I mean some of y'alls chapters haven't been updated in almost 2 years. Us PNM's would really appreciate it :)

Theta's chapter website works just fine?? And it's really current - the chapter president's statement on like the homepage is so up to date that it's from their newest president they elected like a month ago?

No I agree about Theta's page! When you click on the chapter website online it pulls up the "We looked everywhere for this page! (Error 404)" like as if it wasn't the right link or whatever... I've been off and on looking at the sites since October and it's never worked for me either

Literally type "Alabama Theta" into Google and it's literally the first link that comes up. Click on the link and there you go...

Okay that worked! But most PNM's access chapter websites from the UA Panhellenic site and that site listed on there is invalid.

Instagram and Tumblr show a bunch of pictures, that's probably the first thing she looked at and then she went and looked for more information on Websites and didn't see as much as she did on other chapters sites so this is her way of hinting it...it was just a helpful suggestion not a complaint dude

I agree - I wish chapters would regularly update websites, adding news of various activities and awards.
But websites are no longer used by chapters. Neither are Facebook pages and Twitter is a bit passe.
For a window on chapters, go to Instagram and Tumblr.
I'm sure there's some other hot media that I haven't even heard of yet.

ADPi's last bid day video was from 2015 and is only sharing social events from 2014, Alpha Gam doesn't even have a chapter site- it takes you straight to the nationals site, Chi Omega's philanthropy stats are from 2015, Tri Delta's last newsletter was from 2014, DG's recruitment events are 2015 dates, Theta's chapter page doesn't even work, KD's chapter house is a picture of their old house and doesn't even speak of their new one and their recruitment letter has dating errors because the day rec letters are due conflicts with bid day (year wise), Kappa's site still says their house is "coming" even though it's done, and Phi Mu shows recruitment dates for 2015 and shows their "future" house as if it hasn't been built yet.
I'm not trying to be negative to any of the sororities by posting this at all, these are just some of the little things I noticed and wished I got to see a more updated version of.
