pref?

What does it mean for a girl to "pref" you? I understand that on preference round you will rank your top 3 houses, but I've heard the term " the girl who preffed me" and I'm not sure what that means

it means the girl from the chapter who talked to you during that round and tried to sell the chapter to you

during every round, a PNM is matched with an active to talk to for the duration of the round. most rounds, a PNM will speak to 1-4 girls per house. but on pref day you will speak to one girl, to make it more personal, and thats the girl who preffed you. its just a term for actives to use really.
