how to contact fraternities?

I don't know a single person at Bama so I was told I should start contacting rush chairmens. Is it best to text or email or fill out the questions on each website. Also if I text or email what exactly do I say. Might be visiting my spring break if not next time I'll be there is Bama bound. Not really sure how this works.

If you don't know the rush chairs personally or at least know someone who knows them then I definitely wouldn't text them. All of the rush chairs' information is online and so email would probably be the best way to go about contacting them. Basically just say hi my name is ... I'm from ... and I'm interested in rushing ... this upcoming fall and then tell them the dates you may be on campus before school starts. If they have a PNM questionnaire on their chapter websites then fill that out too. Also add yourself into the class of 2021 fb group and see if there are groupme's of other guys rushing just so you can ask other freshmen what they're doing.
