spring rush

So I am a freshman in the Honors college and I did not rush spring because I wanted to get my grades up. I see that last year the IFC website posted a list of fraternities doing spring rush as well as a profile sign up so you could be contacted by fraternities. Right now they have nothing on spring rush. Is it too early to start contacting rush chairs? Is that profile mandatory for spring rush?

Probably a bit too early to contact them directly, but not too early to talk to members of fraternities, meet and get to know them in class and around.
I doubt they'll know who's rushing until after the semester break.
