wealth
by: ?Out of curiousity, how do all these houses know if you have money or not? I mean there are a lot of ways you can pretend to have money. Do they look at if you're on loan? Or scholarship? Or something else tells them?

It's not like houses are actively looking to see who has money or not. You don't need to pretend to have money, or actually have money, to be in a great house. Many people are already connected with each other in some way before they even start school here through their hometowns, high schools, summer camps, and are part of the same social circles for practically all their lives. These people may be seen as "wealthy" by some but it's not about their money, it's just that they already know, or know of, each other. Whether you have loans or scholarships or what kind of car you drive is not that big of a deal.
