transferring sororities
by: .Can someone explain the process of how your recruitment would go if you're already initiated in sorority ABC at another school but you transferred to UA to be in ABC here also? Do you do the exact same thing as a regular PNM or how does that process work?

Each sorority has their own process for transferring chapter membership. Some sororities require chapters to accept any member who transfers. Some don't - they allow the chapter to decide whether or not it will affiliate transferred members. And some chapters may affiliate some, but not all.
No, you do not go through the new member process again.
If you are an initiated member and want to transfer, I suggest you talk to your current chapter president or adviser to find out how it works for your group.
And if you are a PNM thinking that you can pledge Alpha Beta Gamma, the worst sorority at Podunk College, and transfer to Alpha Beta Gamma, the top sorority at Big State University....you may be in for an unpleasant surprise.
