greek life does not define you

I've been here a total of 2 months and all I have to say is wow. I've already seen girls change completely for the worse because they're consumed with their sorority and the obsession over top/middle/bottom tiers. News flash, you are not better than anyone just because you're on old row, contrary to popular belief. Nor are you any less of a person because the most desired house dropped you during rush. Greek life is blown so out of proportion here it actually makes me sad. Dont even expect to have friends outside of your own sorority because that's just how it is at bama. Daddy's money isn't going to impress your future employers, and maybe if people were more concerned about their grades and being a decent person this school would be known for something other than Greek life. (And football) roll tide tho!!!!
