thoughts on pibphi?

Pi Phi's are, for the most part, caring and down to earth girls. They don't have a house this year and are in the German house which isn't ideal but they'll have a house next year which should help with rush. But don't come here looking for true opinions, there are sweet and not so sweet girls in every sorority. Just don't listen to rumors, pi phi isn't on probation or getting kicked off the row but if they were it's nobody's business except for theirs. There are similar rumors about phi mu, ddd, alpha chi, almost every sorority. Just go through rush and follow your heart.

Delta Zeta actives decided to spread a rumor that PBP weren't getting a house. I'm assuming since they're a lower tier sorority that's envious their house hasn't even got torn down yet. There was construction workers there today, as well as machines beginning to build the house so very untrue. The signs were removed because the figure of the house is changing, not because they're not getting the house. Some girls are just very salty about other sororties and their houses.

I hope DZ is not really spreading rumors about PBP or other houses. They do not really cross-rush with them (although they might think they do). DZ needs to focus on themselves and improving their sisterhood and making more realistic choices in recruitment (instead of going after pnms that are never really going to go DZ, but aspire to AGD, AXO, PhiMu). They end up taking girls that really did not want to be there and "fell" to them, while passing on girls that would have been awesome for them and end up at other houses. My experience a couple of years ago in recruitment was that I liked them very much and even went to pref with them but chose a different path on the final selections. They have suffered lately and hopefully a new house in the next couple of years will generate more of a level playing field for them in recruitment. It really is hard to compete with houses that are in new places and have that to sell.
