AXO, XO and DDD's were both really impressive, as was Alpha Phi's. Based on the results of the competition, the judges were looking more for originality than just how impressive they were. ADPi had a great tie in to their philanthropy and KKG used names and focused on black history with the university. Theirs were much simpler than most but the judges probably liked that they recognized Alabama has more than just football legacies, as much as we all love Crimson Tide football. Theta's was very respectable too, and maybe they could have won if theirs had more pomp and tied in more to UA.

Really liked the 3D on adpi's. Liked thetas idea but they still could have pomped- DG's probably didn't cost any more than thetas and it was still really good. Gamma phi also is getting better but they shouldn't have gone for faces, looked like something out of the goonies. Overall really impressed this year. Chi o will never top last year's.

You failed to mention all of the other houses with faces on theirs. It's suspicious when you target only 1 house.

I loved the 3D look. I bet we see more of this in the future. So many possibilities.
You have to stand back further for all the ones with faces. It's like an impressionist painting. Everyone worked so hard. It's amazing to see the final work.

You could have just said "we"... calm down gphi. They're not wrong. Your pomp is better than it usually is but faces are notoriously hard to pull off.

What appeals to one person doesn't necessarily appeal to another. So stop arguing and putting down any house. If you think faces are hard to do, praise any house that would take a chance on faces. If you like the idea of 3D. praise them. Don't compare this year's to last and say some house will never live up to last year. I agree. You're just being rude. It's homecoming, not an art exhibit.

I think they just meant that chi o's last year was really good, which it was. Also this is an anonymous commenting website. If ur gonna get offended u should probably just stay away

My favorite was Alpha Phi's it was awesome! No it's not my sorority! I liked that Theta stepped out of the box with their pomp, it's true to their individualistic spirit, and was a good cause. ADPi also donated to their philanthropy and used leftover materials from last year, I didn't love their pomp, but I like the independence sororities are showing.
