kd has definitely changed
by: So..But I think there is still hope! They have a great house and some fun traditions. On another post, people said they needed to step up their rush game and that's probably true. They also need to broaden their areas. They focus way too much on bham. It's time to let it go. If KD would start rushing amazing girls instead of girls the alums picked, then they would rise again and bham would be all over it. The senior and junior classes aren't very strong.

All the old row, superiority, claims versus reality. Causes a bit of a backlash. That's not hard to figure and its not jealousy.

Bad info there. If they got somebody you think "everyone" wanted you would be wrong. You need to ask yourself who "everyone" is.

Every sorority...old and new row, got a great group of gals this year. KD is no exception. I'm pledging GPhi and some of the funniest and most social girls I know are pledging KD. They're just great! Let's stop badmouthing KD. They're a wonderful sorority, full of tradition!

Can we just be HONEST? I feel like y'all are trying to give every sorority a participation award just for showing up. KD did NOT have a great rush this year. And that's okay. Every house has "off" years now and then and it's okay to point it out. If we all come on these boards and say that all sororities are wonderful and top tier and did great, then what would would the point of this site be? This is a place to be HONEST. Not mean, but honest. And honestly speaking, KD is not what they used to be. KKG, XO, DDD, PM, AXO and ZTA are all ahead of them. And that's okay. It is what it is and rushees need to know houses reputations before they rush.

Preach girl! Great post, very true, no more participation trophies. It's fine to say KD has dropped to middle tier because it's true.

I think with the influx of oos they can't continue to rely on their reputation. They just need to learn to recruit, they aren't used to doing that. They will do fine if they switch things during rush next year.
