delta delta what?!
by: MeepI'm genuinely surprised that tri delt and Alpha Chi were under quota. It seems impossible. I preffed tri delt and although it wasn't home for me, it's a great house with a lot of solid girls. What gives? I'm genuinely curious not trying to bash anyone but I feel really really surprised.

It depends on why you think they had a "slow" year.
Frankly, beleive allot of PNMS saw these houses as "boring", very good but not great, and by comparison "middle tier" - despite all the history and hype of past glory. The girls who perceived this went elsewhere.
Not sure how that gets corrected next year.

That wasn't one of ours, you can call us boring but at least we don't act like that. Gphi and kappa are welcome to them!

Maybe these houses are really vibrant and exciting....
However, no longer do girls show up with a depth of appreciation for the tradition and history.
In the brief encounters during rush with competition for the best girls, If a house elects to rely on "their history" to sell themselves it's going to be lost on many new pnms.
These houses at times seemed to convey a lack of effort by comparison. Know Girls who got carried through preference by them, so don't think this is sour grapes. They just didn't rank them their preferred.

This is right. I am an oos girl and certain "o,d school" or whatever houses had this sort of expectation that I should feel so lucky to be there. It tired me off a little. Other houses were just more chill and easier to connect with.

Funny double standard. I'm sure if aoii or theta had numbers below quota people wouldn't be making excuses about upperclassmen. Fact is not hitting that number is weird no matter how you spin it, especially if you have hit it every other year
