how much do grades impact your chances in rush?

by: pnm17

I am going into my senior year of high school and I applied to UA. I am really interested in the Greek system and was wondering if my good grades will play a big part in my rush. I have over a 4.0 gpa. I don't really care about "top houses" I just want the one best for me and I am hoping my grades will bump me up :)

Grades are important, but some houses also look at your ACT/SAT.

A 4.0 is above the PNM average so while it won't play a "big role" in your rush, it certainly won't hurt you!

Hopefully you've been involved in other activities throughout high school like a sport or dance/cheer, something artistic/musical, volunteer work, etc. Leadership is also an important trait. Houses look for well rounded PNM's.

And recs, recs, recs!! Don't forget to line up recs for all houses.
