We are in the middle of a fundamental change at UA and greek life is ground zero bc of major surge in OOS. The status quo is going to want to protect institutions they hold dear. They will protect privileges. Some explain those away as tradition. Connections. Keep thinking for yourselves! You don't need or want those things of the past.

Oos is changing UA for the better. The moms and grandmas don't like it, but the Greek system is becoming more of a reflection of the school population, which is better academically and wealthier and more sophisticated than the traditional sorority girls. And btw, I love it here. I got a great scholarship, the school went after me hard, and I love my Alabama friends! But OOS students definitely are benifitting the school in terms of rankings, tuition etc...
