predetermined cuts

Which houses have a pretty good idea of who they're going to cut before rush even starts? I just want to prepare myself for what cuts I'll probably get considering I'm from OOS w/ no connections at all.

Some of them. But they all take OOS pnms, so you can't point to specific sororities. Deepest cuts are after first round. Either done by initial impression or grades. Don't take it personally.

Nobody had predetermined cuts. The top half or so houses had lists of priority pnms and so whether you get cut by top houses tonight depends really on whether you were high enough on that list. Panhel gives each house a target number for their list and the higher in demands a house typically is based on past years the more cuts they make this round. So if you do not have a house on your party list that you ranked in top 10 it means basically they cut you.

They ALL already have a list of questionables. They'll compare that to remarks made by members to determine who they rank low.
HOWEVER....remember that both you and they are RANKING, not CUTTING. Just as you may get invitations to houses you thought you had "dropped," you may get invitations to houses you thought had dropped you.
