snap bidding
by: sosHow does snap bidding work and what happens if you're asked to get a snap bid on bid day? Does it look bad on the chapter?

Snap bidding is very rare here because it means that you were dropped from all houses before pref round and then a house that didn't make quota, even after quota additions, offered you a bid to make their quota. Only pnm's who maximize their options would be eligible for a snap bid, meaning that they never dropped a house that they were invited back to. If you did get a snap bid very few people would know about it and your new member class would not know that you were a snap bid and you would go to bid day with everyone else. But as I said, it is very rare here.

...and no one would get a snap bid from a house if her GPA was under the required.
