dues
by: pnmWhat all do dues pay for? And what should we expect to have to pay extra money for-like obviously t-shirts and event outfits but what else would there be?

dues pay for you national membership, new member fees, meals, out-of-house rent, sisterhood events, social fees, etc. Extra would be t-shirts, swap outfits, philanthropy money, and bar cover. Your sorority should have a list of all of the specifics of your dues when you pledge. You and your parents have to sign a form acknowledging the payment options and agreements.

Bid day Zaps are nice to have. But after that you really don't need to spend $$ on them if you are watching your budget.
Tshirts are fun to have. Especially when you are a freshman. But you don't need every event shirt there is. By your sophomore year you will get pickier on what you spend your money on unless you have an unlimited budget. Even then... Where are you going to store all of them?
