pref round outfit

Some people say you can't wear sequins or beads on a dress during pref round. Does that mean like if the dress has a lot or would I be ok with wearing a dress that just has a loop of beading at the waist?

A loop of beading isn't what's trendy right now and that's what the sororities are looking for. Of course, wear whatever you want and there will be a lot of girls who won't care. But if you get matched with someone who is very trendy she might not like it

@ I wouldnt is telling the truth. This is the thing about style choices in recruitment. You have to understand that some actives are extremely shallow and will make snap judgments. If they don't like your style, it will impact how they take you overall. So many pnms come through, especially if you are not known already and have actives promoting you, the little things can make a difference in the top houses.

I was planning on wearing something else for pref, but one of the dresses that I wore to a wedding got a ton of compliments, so I decided to wear it to pref (got complimented on it too). I got it from Saks and it had a bit of beading.

in which case, would be okay if the bottom isn't too tight.

Just don't wear anything that's super beaded and flashy like a flapper dress or anything.

IMHO that dress is a little frunpy. I dont' think a little beading is over the top. Overall sequins, yes - too much.
But really, relax.
By the time you are in a pref party, you're on their pledge list - it's just a matter of where you're ranked and how your ranking matches with theirs. They're telling you - "we want you - and if we don't like your taste, we'll work with you to fix it."

Agree. Kevin mind for pref oh will get a bid so long as you max your options (rank all houses that you to went pref round with )
