drinking

For personal reasons, I don't plan on drinking in college...will this be an issue in a sorority? I love all the social events, philanthropy, sisterhood, and connections that you get from greek life but I'm afraid because I don't want to be forced to drink.

Admirable plan. You can do it but it will be super hard.

You don't have to drink if you don't want to. No one can force you. Just say "no thanks" and if someone gets aggressive about it to you just tell them that you don't drink alcohol. You will not be alone. If anyone has a problem with it then it's their problem not yours. You will not be dropped from a house for not drinking, you can have fun at parties without drinking, and you can date boys without drinking.
