What kind of little rules do houses often have for members? Like I've heard about the selfie rule but what other ones are there?

No wet hair in public

no dancing on elevated surfaces, if you're going to smoke a cigarette you have to sit down and cross your legs, no shacking, no houndstooth, no selfies, some houses can't wear letters until initiation, 2/3 rule (either hair/makeup/or outfit has to be good), no crop tops...
these are rules for pledgeship for girls. This is also a combination of rules from multiple houses.

Why no houndstooth? Because it looks old-fashioned? The rest makes sense though...

No using the front doors of the sorority house, no going upstairs in the fraternity house, have to have makeup on if wearing letters
