new row is great but sorry, old row still happens to just be on top. nothing to do with being old row, it's just how it still is. no denying ZTA is the top of new row but they are not THAT selective during rush. they get some really beautiful girls but so does aphi and pbp. all you have to do is make sure you're good at doing your makeup and you get a bid. they arent getting girls with 4.0 gpas and great resumes and recs and connections. this isn't FSU or ASU, we base our ranks on other things than best make up and outfits. this is what makes our greek system great and competitive, the fact we don't just rush girls on their looks.
this is how it truly is.

I can agree with this fairly well. The only thing I don't quite agree with is placing APhi around the middle if you want to base the rankings off "other things than best make up and outfits" or "looks." However, there are definitely some smart girls I've met from APhi, and I'm not trying to bash them. Like I said, I agree with this overall.

Basing it on selectivity, move AXO to the beginning of the second row with XO/Phi Mu/Alpha Gam. They're smart, involved, and mostly pretty, but they're new money at best. They don't get the best girls from the best families like KD/DDD/Kappa. Alpha Chi doesn't get girls who get picked as Mobile Mardi Gras royalty or members of the Birmingham Debutante Club.

No. This was the ranking 10 years ago. Old row and new row do not matter nearly as much anymore...lots of new row houses that are just as good if not better than some old row, and lots of old row that are still good.
This is the classic mommy ranking. Just because a house is "old row" does not give them an automatic spot in the top two rows anymore. Sorry to break it to you.

You obviously didn't read the post. This had nothing to do with old row/new row. It just so happens that the top houses are in old row. 10 years ago the ranking would be totally different. AXO and DDD weren't even top of the top houses 10 years go and GPB was at the very bottom. I do agree that old row/new row doesn't matter anymore though. Girls don't come in and choose a house just because it's old row. I think the OP is trying to show that the top of new row house is ZTA and the bottom of old row is probably AGD/XO and ZTA is nowhere close to AGD/XO in grades at all and involvement -overall-. This ranking is accurate.
