I am a native Alabaman who will be attending UA this fall. I was a finalist in Miss Teen Alabama, signed model with the Ford agency and will graduate with a 4.0 and currently Senior Class President and Cheerleader. I don't know anyone in any sorority will I have trouble receiving a bid because of that? And also I don't understand the new row old row controversy. What houses should I rush.?

Thanks for the info my best friends older brother is a ΣΑΕ at UA and he did tell me the best most prestigious sororities with the best looking girls are all on New Row. He mentioned names but I don't remember. What are the top sororities on New Row?

This poster is correct in saying the New Row has all the top tier houses. Old Rule is considered almost all lower tier sororities

Question is - in attending a good university like Alabama, do you want to limit yourself to just hanging out with a bunch of local girls (then join Old Row) or an interesting variety of girls from all over (then join New Row).

Seems to me that you don't even have to bother going to college to do the former.

Obvious that this is not a real post. I can't believe people are actually responding as if this person is legit. Other school boards do not and trolls move on cuz no one is biting.

I doubt that any native of Alabama who was active in high school and involved in statewide activities such as you were would not know ANYONE in ANY house at Bama. I think you sound like a troll.
