how to get a fraternity during bamabound

Hey I know there aren't really parties during Bamabound but I hear the the officials at each house stick around during the summer to meet guys during Bamabound. Is it common that houses hand out bids during Bamabound and how much time should you spend there to expect one?

The officers don't necessarily stay at summer, but the rush chair should. Send out a bunch of emails to houses and they should reply and at least a few guys will be in town
